On 12th September 2022 we headed to Medyka to deliver several tons of products with a value of over £20,000. Brindusa (on the left) and Paddy (on the right) were our first all lady driving team and what a team they are. We left at 12.30pm own 12th September and arrived back on 16th September at 4pm.
While we were in Medyka we visited the local Cash & Carry on 15th September where we purchased just over £2,000 of goods. By the end of the day on the 16th September 2022 all the goods we had shipped and also purchased were completely distributed to people inside Ukraine. Thats means over 6 tons of goods were disrtributed into the hands of Ukrainian people by our partners in less than 24 hours.
We are extremely grateful to the Fire Station at Krefeld who yet again went beyond belief providing accommodations and meals for us on the way out and on the way back. Their generosity supplying over 150 litres of fuel, a few running repairs and over £200 in a cash donation is unbelievable. We are extremely grateful to have this team as one of our partners.
