Help us to "Power Ukraine"
In the midst of ongoing conflict and instability in Ukraine, many civilians are facing power outages and other critical infrastructure issues. To help alleviate this situation and provide some much-needed support, buying generators to send to Ukraine is an excellent way to make a positive impact.
When you purchase a generator and send it to Ukraine, you can help ensure that families and communities have access to reliable electricity. This can provide a sense of security and stability during times of crisis, and may even help save lives in emergency situations.
If you’re considering buying generators to send to Ukraine, here are a few things to keep in mind:
Look for high-quality, reliable generators that can withstand the rigors of extended use. You want to ensure that the generators you send will last for a long time and be able to provide consistent power to those who need it.
Consider the power needs of the communities you’re supporting. Depending on the size of the generator, it may be able to power just a few homes or an entire village. Make sure you have a good understanding of the local infrastructure and the specific needs of the people you’re helping.
Partner with a reputable organisation or charity like ourselves to ensure that your generators get to the people who need them most. There are many non-profit organisations that are working to provide support and resources to those affected by the conflict in Ukraine. We help distribute the generators to the communities that need them, ensuring that they are used effectively and efficiently.
Overall, buying generators or funding a generator to send to Ukraine is a great way to support those in need and help provide critical infrastructure during a difficult time. With your help, we can make a real difference in the lives of the Ukrainian people.
Types of Generators
6-8kVA Generators
These generators are most commonly used at stations located in central areas to provide the community with electricity so they can charge their phones, have a hot meal or simply sit in a warm area. Each generator in the 6-8kVA range costs around £20 per day to run, which the local communities support. We have sent over 250 of these already.
36-40kVA Generators
These medium-sized generators can power a small health facility (roughly the size of a 22 apartment block of flats for comparison) and can cost up to £9,000 each. We have sent 3 of these which have gone to hospitals and to a home for mentally disabled children.
500kVA Generator
These generators are capable of running a small hospital of roughly 200 patients, a children's home, or similar sized facility. These cost anywhere between £20,000-£100,000 and are absolutely life-changing.
